Rule n ° 1: I choose energy-efficient appliances

In the kitchen, household appliances can be a source of wasted energy. When choosing your equipment, you will therefore make sure to bet on a refrigerator or a dishwasher whose energy class is at least A + so as to consume as little energy as possible. In the same way, to avoid wasting energy, we think of maintaining our appliances because a poorly defrosted refrigerator and a kettle with tartar will consume more electricity.

Rule n ° 2: I sort my waste

In the kitchen, selective sorting is essential in order to best manage your waste and recycle what can be. It is therefore imperative to equip yourself with a sorting bin worthy of the name having at least two compartments: the first for household waste and the second for plastic and paper. Also remember to put aside your glass bottles and jars in order to throw them in the dedicated container.

Rule # 3: I don't waste

To be eco-friendly, you also have to hunt for waste! This is done to avoid overconsumption of energy and therefore move the refrigerator away from the hob. On the side of the sink, consider installing an aerator that will integrate air into the water at the outlet of the tap and thus consume less.
